Making Their Mark celebrates the Medical District community through portraits of the business owners, essential workers, employees, and residents of the District. Individually, our neighbors play many different roles keeping Memphis healthy, inspired, and vibrant. Together, they make our community stronger through their grit, innovation, creativity, and care. Memphis artists were paired with each subject in the series to capture not only their portrait, but also their contributions and perspectives. Through this collaboration, we aim to elevate those who are vital to the Medical District and vital to Memphis - supporting and celebrating one another in a year like no other.
